As there seems to be some misunderstandings on this, let me clarify. ssh.com Secure Shell is free for both commercial and non-commercial use on Linux and free versions of BSD for an unlimited period of time. Other platforms are free for non-commercial use. Full license can be found on their ftp site. The only problem comes if you want to fiddle with the code.
