Hello. We plan to use a picobsd firewall, booting from a CDROM drive. The hardware is a ASUS A7V mobo, AMD Duron 850 CPU and 256 MB RAM. The system has a floppy and a CDROM drive, two Intel EtherExpress 100/Pro S adapters. We would like to configure the firewall as a bridging firewall because we are within a network segment and NAT isn't a real option. The idea and intention is to put all the static stuff on a CDROM, start a relatively small MFS filesystem to save memory and keep several dynamicaly changeable stuff on a floppy, like new filter rules etc. I found a lot of stuff concerning creating floppy based picobsd, but no one for a CDROM. Can anyone tell me where to look for and find CDROM related stuff for picobsd? Thanks in advance, Oliver -- MfG O.
