https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=3D251063 Werner Lehmann <lehmannwer@gmail.com> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- CC| |lehmannwer@gmail.com --- Comment #1 from Werner Lehmann <lehmannwer@gmail.com> --- This Realtek8723BS also comes with the Intel Atom Baytrail Z3735F Processor, which has been used for some cheap Notebooks in the past. I have got one of those. The problem with the Intel Atom Baytrail devices is that they are 64= -bit machines with 32-bit UEFI firmware. FreeBSD does not boot (yet) on machines like that, but work is being done on this (I have been involved in some Testing and it works fine!) and will probably be available for 15.0-RELEASE. That being said, in the future with= the possibility to install FreeBSD on Intel Atom Baytrail devices, support for = the Realtek RTL8723BS chip would be of major interest. I therefore suggest to raise the importance of this request to more to just= one person. I personally do not care much about Bluetooth support, but support for wire= less would be great. --=20 You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.=
