Hello, I was just wondering, how is "uptime" computed (the load averages specifically). The reason for my question is because I have a server just running Apache, MySQL and a few IRC eggdrops, but nothing else, and my loads are already at 0.11. Any ideas as to what this could be and why it's happening? The system specifications are as follows: AMD Duron 850Mhz 512MB of RAM 20GB HD No video card No floppy drive No CD-ROM drive etc. Any ideas? I look forward to a response. -- Jonathan -- Jonathan M.
