My three comments about this: 1) It's hard to decide that we can say goodbye to plip (plip is not provided as a kernel module), since it is supported on 4.x-RELEASE fora long time. 2) Removing 'fwe' shouldn't work here; it is already removed from the boot kernel :-) See src/release/i386/drivers.conf. 3) USB mouse driver can be moved to mfsroot.flp as a kernel module. drivers.conf and associated tools will do that.
