What I mean is it seems to serve only as a way to test console i/o via a simulated null modem. What I am doing is I have a old sun sparc station 20 but no monitor and the manual says it can be configured via a null modem which implies I need a null modem between my PC and it and nmdm seems to be 100% virtual thus useless. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v2.0.9 (FreeBSD) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iEYEARECAAYFAkgsQXgACgkQk8GFzCrQm4BAIgCcCPyMUZZnh9KQpkOMN5SmChZe KH8AniZCFjpbHdQhtGUZFfej/vuqAzVj =HR0b -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
