I was referring to the ability to update back to SRM from ARC using the utilities and methods that i described. The AS-200 will not support both SRM and ARC in the flash at the same time. My apologies for implying that the opposite was true. > Looks like a misreading of the update documentation on my part; there's > a caution that it's not possible to update from the ARC console for > this release in the release notes, but on rereading it it's no longer > clear whether it simply shares the same numerical confusion as the rest > of the document or whether it really does just apply to ARC 4.41 and > the AS400. You can switch back to SRM from ARC as i have done this several times already. I can not speak to the AS400 as I have never used one. I just wanted to point out that one wouldnt be stuck with an ARC-only system with no way to get back to SRM easily. As for the DEC documentation ... it is often confusing, mislabeled or numbered and it doesnt cover anything unrelated to NT or Digital UNIX. -don To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-alpha" in the body of the message
