I have been running them on my SMP box for, up 17:39, and so far so good. My biggest problem was usually under HEAVY swap where the drives would grind for 5 minutes it would just wedge about an hour after a heavy paging session. But so far so good. Ill let you know in another day or two which is the longest I had soft updates running before my smp box wedged wether it works or not. But it appears to be ok.
