Any possibility, to easily teach xemacs to use simply >/var/tmp or should we change our rc scripts ? > actually it's /var/run/xemacs. there was considerable discussion about this in the ports list some months ago and the consensus seemed to be that a /var/run/xemacs was the most appropriate solution. That's why I did it that way. I personally am dispassionate about this and if there's a _new_ consensus that it should be done in another way then I'm more than willing to go along with the majority. /var/tmp/xemacs seems resonable to me. --- Gary Jennejohn Home - garyj@muc.de Work - garyj@fkr.dec.com To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe cvs-all" in the body of the message
