I knew it was a stupid question ...
Okay, run and mounted, looks good ... run vmware, hit yes for 'Wizard',
and it next tells me:
Error opening /proc/meminfo
grep: /proc/meminfo: No such file or directory
Appears to work okay so far as user root though ...
