G'day,

I've just committed a bunch of changes to libc that allow it to
be built on FreeBSD/Alpha using NetBSD syscalls. This is a non-invasive
change with respect to the source for i386, but the makefiles are very
different, so a HEADS UP warning is needed. 8-)

I've built and re-built this many times so you should assume that 
it has been tested. Let me know if I've messed up!
