I am wondering because both nfs_rename() and nfs_link() do VOP_FSYNC(), but they do not call vm_object_page_clean(). Also, could you try a test run with truncate =3D 0? (The nfs_setattr() code does seem that it should vnode_pager_setsize(), but maybe more needs to be done.)
