After pressing Alt+F2 I get a screen that has some error messages on it. wd3: can't handle 65535 heads from partition table (truncating to 16) wd3: cannot handle 65535 sectors (max 255) wd3: wdcontrol: recal failed reading fsbn 0 wd3: status 3c<wrtflt,seekdone,drq,ecc_cor> error 0 wd3: error reading primary patition table reading fsbn 0 (wd3 bn 0; cn 0; tn 0; sn 0) I am trying to install FreeBSD onto a 200Mb partition of my originally 800Mb drive. I used FIPS to generate the extra partition. Yesterday I was able to enter the setup no problem but couldn't access FTP so I thought that I would try a different method this time until the setup froze on me. >How-To-Repeat: Go into the kernal setup and exit without making any changes. (When I try to make chagnes to the kernal, the system freezes after saving them...) >Fix: >Audit-Trail: >Unformatted: To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-bugs" in the body of the message
