Actually, I am having problems running sane . Say Dave, have you tested
this port?

I am getting with my UMAX  "split i/o request" every time that xscanimage
attempts to scan . I ported this a while ago and didn't have any problems
with sane. It could be due to  current because I did check the size of the
scsi read buffer which is 32768 .
