   My company manufactures 1U and 2U servers. We haven't done RAID inside the
1U server, but it's theoretically possible using a RAID card of some sort. We
have sold configurations of 1U with our external RAID systems, however, and
have a great deal of RAID expertise.
   I'd be happy to discuss this privately with you in more depth.
