The hardware guide is not on the floppy:

"If the kern.flp floppy does not boot at all or the boot hangs at some 
stage, read the Q&A section of the Hardware Guide on the floppy for
possible causes."


Also, add a hyperlink to the page, where it mentions disabling bios 
virus protection, which can cause problems.
