        Hi,
        
        If you are using LVD disks, the performance *should* differ, should
it not?  The 875 is an SE chip while the Asus P2B-S has the 7890 LVD chip on
board.        By the way, Asus does not make the SC-875 any more.  So the
Tekram DC390F would be the one to look for, for the 875 chip.
