Hello,

I'm out of list, so please forgive me if I'll repeat problem report.

Last update of portupgrade scripts changed scripts execution. I saw that
ruby is called via /usr/bin/env, so executing portupgrade, portsdb,
portversion via periodic finishes with error message:
env: ruby: No such file or directory.

Of course I can add /usr/local/(s)bin to /etc/crontab (PATH), but I'm
not sure that's good idea.

The second problem (tested on 6.x, 7.x, 8.x) is that portupgrade
crashes. Here part of portupgrade log:
---> Backing up the old version
--->  Uninstalling the old version
--->  Deinstalling 'xz-4.999.9_1'
--->  Preserving /usr/local/lib/liblzma.so.0 as /usr/local/lib/compat/pkg/liblzma.so.0
** Listing the failed packages (-:ignored / *:skipped / !:failed)
        ! xz-4.999.9_1  (undefined method `nil' for "":String)
** Listing the failed packages (-:ignored / *:skipped / !:failed)
        ! archivers/xz (xz-4.999.9_1)   (uninstall error)

Is it problem with my pkgtools.conf? I've missed sht else?

Thanks a lot for your answer, patient and time.

Greetings,

In theory, there is no difference between theory and practice.
In practice, there is.
