to handle my Sony VAIO R505-TLK are there any guides out there to working with the apm? According to the man page there is only the 0x20 flag to deal with broken statclocks. Right now my apm says this: APM version: 1.2 APM Management: Enabled AC Line status: on-line Battery status: unknown Remaining battery life: unknown Remaining battery time: unknown Number of batteries: 0 Resume timer: disabled Resum on ring indicator: disabled APM Capacities: global standby state global suspend state resume timer from standby resume timer from suspend This is plainly wrong as I am running on battery power with no AC line plugged in. Also when I suspend (apm -z) that works but resuming the machine does not seem to be possible. So, I intend to fix this but I need a place to start. Pointers?
