According to The Hermit Hacker: > Why does it take a quarter of the time under WinNT? Because the various free encoders don't use the same algorithms as the proprietary ones. I've tried Xing codec software which is almost 1:1 but all the others are at least 1:3... The fastest "free" one seems to be BladeEnc. -- Ollivier ROBERT -=- FreeBSD: The Power to Serve! -=- roberto@keltia.freenix.fr FreeBSD keltia.freenix.fr 4.0-CURRENT #70: Sat Feb 27 09:43:08 CET 1999 To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-chat" in the body of the message
