Log:
- Break scrn_timer() into two pieces. Now screen update is done in a
separate routine: scupdate() called from scrn_timer().
- Make sure that the screen is updated for the low-level console
routines sccngetc() and sccncheckc(). A new routine, sccnupdate(),
is introduced and will call scupdate() above.
