There are problems, to start the 2nd CPU automatically ...
See the comments in the commitlogs or in LINT, don't
remember the exact location ...
I have created an alias in root's .cshrc
smp sysctl -w kern.smp_active=2
This starts nicely the 2nd (or more) CPU.
