in my personal case, this is the mount command I give (working in Windows host,
reboot the machine in Ubuntu host):

doas mount -t vboxvfs mauro /home/mauro/shared/

where mauro is the Virtualbox shared folder choosen in Ubuntu (path home/mauro)
but also in Windows (Users/mauro).  And shared is the folder I created inside
/home/mauro/ in Freebsd guest to access the shared folder
