Maybe you have a different version of rogomatic - mine clearly tries to dump the high score table by running ``rogue -s > scores'', and when rogue tries to do --more-- processing, it blocks for input. It's more of a nostalgia thing than anything else, and I just happened to stumble across a copy of rogomatic while I was cleaning out some old directories (they got a *grant* for that, I still can't believe it! :-).
