Has anyone ever used FreeBSD as the software behind a Beowulf type project? As far as I can see, the only OS used for this is Linux. FreeBSD appeals to me more for some reason. I do not know why. Is there any possiblity this could be done/has been done? One of the Beowulf pages refers to www.geli.com using FreeBSD in such a project, but that address is not working. Any pointers?
