I've been using the NFS server and netboot option, myself. The whole burning CD's became too wasteful and cumbersome. http://homepage.mac.com/joeldiaz/freebsd/FreeBSD_PPC_Installation.html Has a nice writeup which is an elaboration on peter's instructions.
