I'm not trying to do a "me too" post, but I've got an older Toshiba 330CDS, with all components supported and runing flawlessly under FreeBSD 4.2 and XFree86 4.0.1. Sound is supported (OPL-3Ax), PCMCIA cards for modem and NIC work too. Cool beans. -Otter }-----Original Message----- }From: owner-freebsd-questions@FreeBSD.ORG }[mailto:owner-freebsd-questions@FreeBSD.ORG]On Behalf Of }Matt Rudderham }Sent: Friday, December 01, 2000 6:26 PM }To: Reinaldo Rios; freebsd-questions@FreeBSD.ORG }Subject: RE: Laptop Support (Was no Subject) } } }> }> Does FreeBSD run on laptop computers? } }Yes, most perform well, I currently run FreeBSD 4.0 on my }Thinkpad 365XD, }with a few X problems, but none with FreeBSD. }See http://www.jp.freebsd.org/PAO/ for some more support info. } } } }To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org }with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
