I still think that showing the command "output
for "pkg info -d libinput" when you have the badly
handled context would be useful.

The Makefile will do:

DEBUG_GUI_USE=          GNOME=gtk30,glib20,cairo xorg=x11

for its specifics but you report that meson.build
used gtk40 instead. Do the direct vs. library
dependencies in up contradicting each other or
otherise giving pkg inputs that cna not actually
be handled well?
