Greetings, Can someone briefly explain/describe the history architechture of these two shells: /bin/csh Where is the default (no special changes or new account) history stored? Where is the history stored once this user su's to root? /usr/local/bin/bash Same questions as above, as well as where do you adjust the how "big" your history gets for regular user and when you are logged in as root. And one last one question: What is the easiest way to setup an account already using csh that wants to use bash? Assuming the bash 2.0 port is install for example. As well as it being activated when the user su's to root.
