I don't think * you need to have gtk installed for the port to work, and I don't think * it should make a difference for building ports. However, the port * author (Gilad Rom) should know better; I'll talk to him about it * tomorrow (he seems to be asleep now). Ok. I don't think any other port links to gtk statically so it shouldn't be a problem as long as the API is the same. Just curious, why didn't the author rename the libraries and directories like Xaw3d?
