Hi, my Synaptics Touchpad doesn't work on FreeBSD 200710 amd64. I've add hw.psm.synaptics_support=1 to my /boot/loader.conf and I've compiled x11-drivers/synaptics and x11-drivers/xf86-input-mouse. My dmesg says: psm0: <PS/2 Mouse> irq 12 on atkbdc0 psm0: [GIANT-LOCKED] psm0: model Synaptics Touchpad, device ID 0 kldload: Unsupported file type kldload: Unsupported file type Xorg says: Synaptics Touchpad no synaptics event device found (checked 10 nodes) Synaptics Touchpad The /dev/input/event* device nodes seem to be missing (EE) xf86OpenSerial: No Device specified. Synaptics driver unable to open device (EE) PreInit failed for input device "Synaptics Touchpad" The touchpad worked fine on FreeBSD 200710 i386. Does anybody know what to do? Best greetings Thomas
