| Before you begin downloading an ISO
| Make sure you have:
|
| An internet connection (internet service provider fees may
| apply).
| Sufficient data storage available on the computer, USB, or
| external drive you are downloading the .iso file to.
| A blank DVD disc with at least 8GB (and DVD burner) to create a
| bootable disc. We recommend using a blank USB or blank DVD, because
| any content on it will be deleted during installation.
| If you receive a "disc image file is too large" message while
| attempting to burn a DVD bootable disc from an ISO file, consider
| using a higher capacity Dual Layer DVD.

$ wc -c SW_DVD9_Win_Pro_11_24H2_64BIT_English_Pro_Ent_EDU_N_MLF_X23-69812.ISO

$ fetch --print-size https://download.freebsd.org/releases/ISO-IMAGES/15.0/FreeBSD-15.0-BETA4-amd64-dvd1.iso

I do not have dual-layer DVD blank media handy and I am unsure if my
DVD recorder can write to it, but both ISOs work with the virtual DVD
readers I have tested.
