Mind if I take a look at your XF86Config? X freezes up at the Nvidia splash
screen in the better resolutions, so all I can achieve is a 16-bit looking
800x600.

Also, did you get the Dell BIOS upgrade and use that? I've done that, I'm
not certain if that's a good thing or not. I know my APM stuff doesn't work
well under Linux/FreeBSD after that.
