Nope, nothing more than a high-quality ATX power supply, 300 watt minimum
(realistically speaking).

This is grounding out the soft power circuit.  I think it depends on the
power supply whether this will work.  The two or three power supplies I
played with on my 164LX required me to ground the soft power circuit while
power was connected.  If I had it grounded before power was connected, I
had to break the circuit, and then ground it again in order for the
machine to power up.
