Tyler, I don't think anyone is going to flame you for asking questions, this isn't a linux list :). Be sure, however, to read the FAQ and handbook before you ask, as well as the man pages. The man pages in BSD are quite good and an excellent source of information. For nice practical howto's, checkout www.freebsddiary.org, as well as www.mostgraveconcern.com/freebsd (also checkout that site in general, super cool quotations. Lot's a of good HL Mencken ones. But I digress. If you write up your question in an easy to read format, and you have read the docs, no one will bother you. .matt -----Original Message----- From: owner-freebsd-questions@FreeBSD.ORG [mailto:owner-freebsd-questions@FreeBSD.ORG]On Behalf Of tyler spivey Sent: Friday, June 22, 2001 5:45 PM To: freebsd-questions@freebsd.org Subject: my posts is it such a good idea to post so much even if i'm new to freebsd? what are good sources of information (besides faq, handbook) for *bsd?
