I observed that piping commands quiet never make use of the full SMP
potential. This is probably due to the GL.

I would like to know (more for personnal knowledge than to get things
done) the difficulties to improve this specific area. Mainly, are we in
a all (full granular) of nothing (keep GL) situation ?
