Rick Knebel <rknebel@uplink.net> types: > Does apsfilter support usb printers. Specifically an Epson Color 740. Apsfilter doesn't really support printers. It invokes ghostscript to actually deal with the printer specifics, and uses the device files provided by the kernel to get the output of ghostscript to the device. I don't know the epson printer line well enough to tell if the list of printers that ghostscript supports includes the 740 or not. As for the kernel, that should work. You'll get a "ulpt0" device at boot time, and may need to MAKEDEV ulpt0 in /dev. <mike -- Mike Meyer <mwm@mired.org> http://www.mired.org/home/mwm/ Independent WWW/Perforce/FreeBSD/Unix consultant, email for more information.
