Have you checked the Makefile of devel/glibmm? The version actually is 
2.50.1 so it should match 'giomm-2.4 >= 2.49.1'. You obviously have 
an old version installed. 'pkg version -n glibmm'?

Just try what jbeich@ told you. Or use pkg!
