The user should be informed about the reason for the failure (network failure, network timeout, remote file not available, etc.) # freebsd-update upgrade -r 9.3-RELEASE Looking up update.FreeBSD.org mirrors... 5 mirrors found. Fetching metadata signature for 9.2-RELEASE from update6.freebsd.org... done. Fetching metadata index... done.
