A while back someone (bruce?) had asked me to post sysctl and vmstat
listings while I was getting 'no buffer space available' messages. Well,
since the machine uses yp and nfs a lot, when it ran out of buffer space,
I'm essentially dead... This is after the machine recovered on it's own,
about 15 mins later.. (sometimes it comes back, sometimes it locks up, or
nicely suggests more swap before locking up, I've got 150MB now, with 128MB
ram)
The first sign of something going wrong is users getting their botchk cron
jobs mailing them with yp_client complaining about no buffer space, but
still working.
If anyone would like any more information, let me know.
Kevin
