While putting them in the non-offensive part of the file may not have been a great decision, I think that now that they ARE in the offensive section, it's up to people who don't want to be offended not to use the -o option. If it makes a difference to anyone, I always use the -o option, and yes, some of the quotes in there alternately irritate and amuse me. But I know that going in.
