Yes, it works, at least for some devices.  I've used a D-Link USB ethernet 
adapter with no problem at all.  I plugged it in and it worked.  I never 
did get the thing working in Windows 98.

Wireless (802.11) over USB is not yet supported.

Not at the moment.  If no one else answers, I'll try to remember to
