I have a freebsd machine running sendmail that is on the edge of our internal network. The internal network is numbered with the private address range 192.168.0.0. As such our machine has 2 ip addresses bound to it, an internal address and an external address. The problem is that the machine will sometimes try to communicate using the internal address while talking to other mail servers. How do I specify which IP address sendmail will use while talking to other mail servers (for helo commands, etc) Thanks To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
