Well - after the last attempt to write a tape, I only got one SCSI reset set of messages - and things didn't loop... Here's what I got: sd1(ahc0:1:0): timed out in command phase, SCSISIGI == 0x84 sd1(ahc0:1:0): BUS DEVICE RESET message queued. sd1(ahc0:1:0): timed out in command phase, SCSISIGI == 0x84 ahc0: Issued Channel A Bus Reset #1. 3 SCBs aborted sd0(ahc0:0:0): UNIT ATTENTION info?:4020040 asc:29,0 sd0(ahc0:0:0): Power on, reset, or bus device reset occurred , retries:3 sd1(ahc0:1:0): ABORTED COMMAND asc:49,0 Invalid message error , retries:3 ahc0:A:1: refuses WIDE negotiation. Using 8bit transfers and, as you can tell from this mail - everything seems to have recovered.... - Dave Rivers -
