Thats okay and I feel bad for asking however it wouldn't surprise to
see someone trying to feed a PAL signal to an NTSC fxtv mode.

I did noticed that your dmesg said that your card is classified as
PAL so perhaps you need to try to manually set your driver:

Also you can define OVERRIDE_TUNER in driver:
  #define OVERRIDE_TUNER=x

Where is "x" is a number
