well, the most common response you will get around
here is - why?
well, I guess it is cute.

With some judicious trimming, though, it should be
possible. see the recent article

on making s cd-bootable freeBSD - the essentials don't
change for a mini-cd, except that you may need to trim
down the componentry to fit. 80MB is the given figure
in Greg Lehey's book, as a rough guide, but that
doesn't include XWindows.
