I'm running FreeBSD-6.x with a DFI K8M800-MLVF in my server at home
without problems.  It's a K8M800 board and everything I've tried works.
I have not tried the video under X so I'm not sure that will work.  It's
an S3 UniChrome which I think had support issues.  You can alwasy toss
in a cheap video card though.
