Recompiled the kernel without cbb, pccard and cardbus support. That seemed to fr ee up something as my wireless works just as it did in 5.1-RELEASE now. Just as a side note... I wasn't able to even boot the default kernel without usi ng hw.cbb.start_memory=0xC0800000, which Don Lewis kindly provided me. This is obviously a problem with my notebook and not FreeBSD as well. And the vmstat output now: %vmstat -i interrupt total rate irq0: clk 54547 99 irq1: atkbd0 1775 3 irq8: rtc 69823 127 irq9: acpi0 1514 2 irq11: an0 fxp0++++ 37564 68 irq12: psm0 30 0 irq13: npx0 1 0 irq14: ata0 4382 8 irq15: ata1 31 0 Total 169667 310 5.2-RC1 is working excellent! Great job!
