Hmm, amd64 pretty much requires ACPI currently. It might mostly work if you add 'device mptable', but it won't be able to find PNPBIOS devices (though hints will mostly work for that stuff). If you don't have an mptable it won't be able to route PCI interrupts, etc. It also requires an APIC, though you might be able to use 'device atpic' to work around that. -- John Baldwin
