It would be nice if you or Randal to implement a hunt feature for the first available bt848 so a user will be able to just run fxtv without having to specify the device. This feature is an addition to the option of specifying the bt848 device. vic's meteor/bt848 has a simple routine to hunt for the devices if anyone is interested. Basically, it tries to open /dev/bktr0, /dev/bktr1... if it finds one it flags the device available for video capture. Regards, Amancio
